KONDO's wheel spindles backed by original know-how come in with hydrodynamic bearing or hydrostatic pressure bearing depending on applications, heavy load or precision grinding.

■Hydrodynamic bearing
The wheel spindle bearing maintains high precision rotation and rigidity to stand heavy load grinding by rotating the wheel spindle in a minimum gap to produce wedge dynamic pressure and oil film pressure.
■Hydrostatic pressure bearing
The wheel spindle bearing is free from metal-to-metal contact, exhibiting high damping property, and maintaing permanently high rotation accuracy. Our hydrostatic pressure bearing firmly holds the wheel spindle to shaft center during stopping.

Our beds constituted with low center of gravity and high rigidity ribs maintain stabilized work precision.
